Comfy and nice feel. Your feet may need a bit more support. I threw in a pair of “Pedags” and they work great. Got these shoes for an upcoming dive trip to Mexico. Should work great. Size depends on socks or no socks. If you’re going for the beach scene and are a half size, go with the smaller size for no socks. Cheers!
These shoes are so comfy! I was reluctant to bring them on a trip because I hadn’t broken them in -they don’t need it! I’m on day 3 in Palm Springs and have worn them constantly - so comfy, well-made, and cute!
Patara shoes came across my FB feed and the unique patterns instantly caught my attention. After checking them ALL out I decided on the Taj Black Nomads and could not be happier. Wearing a half size I was concerned about the fit but as they advise I ordered a half size larger and they are perfect. I've now worn them a week while travelling and find them very light & comfortable.
I'm also impressed with the shipping. With-in an hour of ordering I received a notice that they had shipped! I did not pay for expedited shipping but still received them in 4 days (including a weekend) and 1 day sooner then told.
I'll be ordering another pair and style!

I love the nubuck nomads, the material is super soft, no break in period needed for the leather. They work perfectly as a casual shoe and as a travel shoe. I had a pair of more expensive Italian made nubuck slipons that I was breaking in at the same time as these nomads and the Italian shoes left a bad blister on my heel after an hour of walking around the airport. Putting the nomads on felt like such relief with how soft and unabrasive Patara's nubuck leather is, highly recommend.
Fast Shipping! Ordered last Friday, and it came in today... Exceptional Customer Service! At first, I was skeptical of getting one since I wear 7.5 U.S. men's / UK 40. Before ordering, I've contacted and confirmed with Patara's customer service, and suggested to get 8 on men's. So far, it fits good. Can't wait to walk on this and use when I travel.

Wonderful color, fit, and comfort. The shoes provide the versatility needed to dress up or dress down. Great shoe for traveling, as they're incredibly comfortable. The shoes aren't very breathable, so your feet get a little hot on warm days but phenomenal purchase overall.
These shoes are awesome. Great purchase for summer trip to Europe. Will go with everything from shorts to jeans or khakis. They are incredibly comfortable, even without socks. I was a little concerned about not being able to order in half sizes, but knowing I wanted to wear them without socks, I went with the next size down. Perfect fit and I'm sure I'll be getting tons of compliments on these super cool shoes.
I bought these before a trip and wore them while walking around a city for 4 days without ever having broken them in first. They were very comfortable and looked great.
The shoes are unique, funky and awesome and I love the style! My only qualm is the comfort. My feet are symmetrical in size and fit, but the right shoe compresses the top of my big toe and the toe next to it. I also get some friction and rubbing along the outside of my left ankle, but all in all it’s not terrible. I’m hopeful they just need to be worn in so they can be my travel shoes when I head to Europe in May!
The Havana Suede is a great casual shoe that could be dresses up a bit in the summer. Packs flat for travel when you want an extra shoe. Very comfortable, a little more support than Vans or Toms. I love the cork footbed. I'm not sure about breathability for going sockless, I go for thin no show socks. Sizing is true. Might have to get the canvas version. Thanks Patara!
Well, well, well, brilliant pair of shoes. I wasn't sure, loved the designs, but you never quite know about the fitting and comfort. I can absolutely, positively say that 100% comfortable and they look great!
These shoes are very versatile...and packable..I use them for work in the office and with a pair of shorts to the park. And when I travel for business, they fit in my carryone and provide me versatility between work and leisure activities.
I purchased these shoes right before a trip to Mexico City and rocked them around town the whole time. I love how comfortable and versatile they are when walking around a city or dancing salsa in a neighborhood bar. Definitely looking forward to buying another pair!
