The insert is amazing for my flat feet and comfortable. Got them wet at the beach and they dried extremely fast, ready for the next adventure.
The Chaing Mai Nomads is my favorite. They were my default footwear throughout my entire trip to Spain. I received several compliments. One traveler who eventually became a friend even took a picture and asked for the brand name. They are the most comfortable shoes even more comfortable than my best sneakers. I have two pairs of the same shoes so that they last longer. Love them!

These are the same size of my other 2 pairs (laced version) but very tight. Hoping they stretch with wear.
I'm 50, and have been on a quixotic, odyssean crusade for the last two decades to find slip ons that don't make me look like the charming, if unfortunate captain of a dilapidated fishing boat in Maine or a woman. I've tried them all - penny loafers, boat shoes, espadrilles, venetian loafers, drivers - none can hold the jock strap this shoe came carefully packaged in. If you get too close to them in the closet, they will put themselves on. If you wear them in front of the wrong audience, look out for flying panties. If you have sons with big feet, guard them, because these shoes have more rizz than anything Gen whatever can muster. No cap.
I wore them in costa rica and was immediately accepted as the ranking capuchin in Manuel Antonio. Scarlett Macaws landed on my shoulder. Sloths actually ran to be near me.

The Black Nomads are my third pair of Nomads after buying the Taj Blue and Chiang Mai Nomads. These shoes are so incredibly comfortable (pro tip for the fellas w/flat feet: you can remove their cork insole, which I’m sure is comfortable, and replace with a pair of Dr. Sholls inserts if you need more stability). Whenever I know I’m going to have a long day, but want to look stylish, I wear these and they do trick. I can walk for hours and my feet never hurt. The sole is incredibly durable and flexible, and the cotton upper forms to your feet, so you may forget you’re wearing these. I’m looking to buy my fourth pair soon!

This is my third pair of shoes from Patara. In spite of that fact, I waited until after wearing my new seekers until after I’d worn them. I can now report these shoes are as comfortable as my previous ones and look great. I’ve a repeat buyers for two reasons: the price is right and the shoes are true to size for my feet.
